Hurricane Isabel, 5mm, Silver & 14K Gold Balls
Hurricane Isabel was the most intense, costly and deadly storm of the 2003 Atlantic hurricane season. Isabel fluctuated in intensity for four days as she crossed the ocean, then weakened right before slamming in to the Outer Banks of North Carolina on September 18th. She weakened further to an Extratropical Cyclone over Pennsylvania, then eventually was absorbed into another system over Eastern Canada. Each ball on this piece signifies the number of categories the storm was.
